If you have any further questions that are not answered here, please write to us at info@kgv-ochtum-warfeld.org.

How can I lease a garden?

Have you decided to embark on the allotment garden adventure? Then we have a form for you here. Simply fill it out and either send it by e-mail to info@kgv-ochtum-warfeld.org or bring a printed copy to the next consultation hour. (Every first Thursday from 17 to 19:00 in the clubhouse).
We will then see if we have a free garden that matches your ideas and arrange a viewing appointment.
We look forward to seeing you!

Allotment garden regulations

Why community service and when can I take part?

Every club member should complete six hours of work in the gardening year. Not only your own garden, but also the shared areas of the club grounds need attention and care throughout the year.
Every first Saturday of the month from April to September, we meet at the set-up area to carry out work together.
Of course, this is also a good time to finally get to know the new neighbor across the street or the long-established couple next door.
For every hour of work not done, the association will charge €15 in the year-end invoice.
This means that you not only ensure the maintenance of the club grounds together with the work service, but can also save €90 per year.

Garden regulations of the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Bremen e.V.

In our allotment garden sites we want to live together as good neighbors. With the garden rules, the garden friends set themselves rules that are of mutual benefit. We respect and promote the interests of the social and urban ecological environment.

We will take into account the principles and requirements of environmental protection, nature conservation and landscape conservation. Our garden regulations are based on the Federal Allotment Garden Act (BKleingG), the statutes of the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Bremen (LVB) and the requirements of our landlords (City of Bremen and private landlords).

Allotment garden use requires the cultivation of fruit, vegetables and other horticultural products on at least 1/3 of the garden area. Each allotment garden tenant must cultivate the garden independently. The garden must be kept in a condition that complies with the garden regulations. Assistance by third parties is permitted. Exclusive management by third parties is not permitted.

The garden regulations apply to the Bremen allotment garden sites. The provisions of the garden regulations apply to allotment garden tenants and owners if their gardens are located in designated allotment garden sites.

Cancel your garden

Gardening is not really your thing? Then you can use the following form to cancel your membership with effect from November 30 of each year. The notice period is three months, i.e. it should be submitted to the board by the end of August at the latest.
The value of the garden is determined by a so-called valuation. The cost of the valuation (€150) is always borne by the old tenant.
As soon as the garden has been valued, we will look for a new tenant together.
