“Ochtum-Warfeld e.V.” Allotment Garden Association
You’ll find us where Neustadt, Grolland, and Huchting meet along the Ochtum River.
Our association has about 400 gardeners who tend a total of 310 plots. Since 1921, these allotment gardens have served as a little oasis within the city of Bremen—a place to unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet, or observe wildlife.
You can find out how to become a plot holder, what the garden rules entail, and all sorts of useful information about gardening on our website. If you’re interested in nature and homegrown vegetables, please feel free to contact us.
We hold office hours at the clubhouse on the first Thursday of every month at 5 p.m.

Dear Club Members,
Please read your water meters using the self-reading form by August 31, 2026, and submit the form to a board member or drop it in the mailbox at the clubhouse. Our summer party will take place on Saturday, August 8, starting at 1:00 p.m. You can find more information about this in the display cases.
On August 29, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., there will be a lecture on promoting beetles in the garden. The event will take place at the office of the Bremen State Association of Gardeners (Johann-Friedrich-Walte-Str. 2).
Please note that food scraps do not belong on the compost pile or in the garden. Please dispose of them with your household trash at home.
Food scraps attract pests, such as rats, which could cause damage in your allotment gardens.
Driving on the paths is not permitted on Sundays and holidays between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Community service days are on August 1 and September 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The meeting point is at the preparation area. The consultation hour will take place on August 6 at 5 p.m. in the clubhouse.
